SHORTGAME AREA

Breaking 100, 90, 80 or getting that handicap figure down is the aim of most golfers. Regulation golf would be lovely if we could achieve it on every hole. But alas, that’s just not golf. The short game carries the need for many skills. Pitch and stop it stone dead, add a bit of back spin, pitch and run, make sure you clear the bunker that seems to get bigger on the back swing and of course the bunker shots. Our short game area here at Braid Hills Golf Centre is geared to addressing the saving of strokes. Pitching close to one put or at most two will present and significant result on your scorecard.

Use of the short game area is restricted to lessons or anyone that has had a short game lesson with one of our professionals. We also have a short game membership available that allows use of the area with unlimited putting.
